Early Alpha 2013 – Trip Update Day 7

Written by Luke Whitcraft; Mate

The day began wonderfully as the students of Early Alpha awoke around 7:15 a.m. in Nanny Cay. Many tried to sneak in some last minute showers in the notoriously luxurious bathrooms at Nanny Cay’s marina. Afterwards, everyone got on the boats and prepared to de-dock for the journey to Cooper Island. The long sail was fun with all in high spirits and many tacks along the way. After getting to Cooper, it was finally time for lunch! Once the meal and clean up was finished,  the divers got their gear set for a two tank dive. Others went out tubing and snorkeling at Sistern Rock. The day ended with a beautiful sunset as the sleepy eyed crew got ready for bed, excited for more fun to come tomorrow.
