Early Alpha 2013 – Trip Update Day 8

Written by Luke Whitcraft; Mate

This morning the staff awoke at 6:00 a.m. for a staff sail over to the Baths. The students awoke at the Baths, moored and ready to go ashore for a fun filled day of  snorkeling, hiking, and jumping off of Jump Rock! There was even a marine biology lesson over oceanography. After the baths, it was time for challenge day, where the staff mates and captains leave it up to the students to get the boats to the next destination. It was extremely fun and the fleet ended up at Saba Rock near the Bitter End. After mooring at Saba Rock, everyone had the opportunity to go ashore for some late afternoon drinks and desserts.  After enjoying a lovely sunset from land, the crews headed back to their boats to get some rest before their beach day at the Bitter End tomorrow.
